Once again proving that it is the best relational database management
 set new
Transaction Processing Performance Council (TPC-C.) performance
and price/performance records on April 5, 1996.

With audited results of 3641.17 transactions per minute (tpmC) and a
price/performance of $147.62/tpmC, SQL Server 6.5 outperformed both
ORACLE. 7.3 and Sybase System 11 on Windows NT, and ORACLE
on all versons of Unix.. [....]

Oracle finally made the attempt in January of 1996, on a four processor
server, and failed to beat SQL Server's previous best of
3194tpmC/$196 on a Digital AlphaServer.

Sybase made an attempt in March of this year and also
came up short.

The most recent results are significant because, for the first time,
all three databases were tested on the same hardware platform.

Wierzyc czy nie? Dane u MS na serwerze...

Wynik w tpmC co prawda gorszy, ale w $/tpmC lepszy, wiec moze
wystarczy postawic lepsza maszyne.
