SparcStation Addition
Sun Microsystems Inc. on Nov. 8 will introduce a new model into its
SparcStation 20 line of high-end workstations. The Model HS11 workstation, which
features the 100-MHz hyperSparc high-performance processor, is aimed at
data-intensive applications such as multimedia and solids modeling. The new
workstation can support either Sun's Solaris 1 or newer Solaris 2 Unix
operating systems. Model HS11 is scheduled to ship in December.
