Hm, z faktami sie nie dyskutuje, ale taki pewny to ja bym nie byl.
Typowy (w czasach ISA) cykl dostepu do portow HDD trwa okolo 1000ns.
Na kontrolerach VLB zwykle mozna ustawic mniej, chyba az do 240ns mozna
zejsc (tzn 240ns widzialem, a mniej nie). Ten czas generuje PC, a nie dysk.
Teraz pytanie - czy CDROM (urzadzenie z natury wolne, i zwykle przylaczane
do ISA) poradzi sobie z 240ns? Bo jesli nie (a widzialem juz HDD, w
dodatku Caviary, ktore tego nie wytrzymywaly) to bede musial zwolnic sobie
peceta.
