Otóż to! Zgodnie z prawm chyba Parkinsona, każda wystarczająco duża i
zbiurokratyzowana organizacja może doskonale funkcjonować bez kontaktów
ze światem zewnętrznym.

Pozwoliłem sobie wydobyć najśmieszniejszy (i najsmutniejszy za razem)
fragment tego listu. Nie od dziś widać, że IBM zaczyna przypominać
mastodonta i to w dodatku z altzheimerem - lewa nóżka nie wie co robi
prawa. Zapowiada się Aurorę a poleca Windows NT jako rzekomo bardziej
zaawansowaną technologię.
Oby tak dalej, a IBM stanie się autoryzowanym dealerem produktów
Microsoftu... No a my będziemy musieli przejść na Linuchę (brr! oby jak
najpóźniej!) lub Windoze NT! Przy okazji, skoro IBM zaprzepaścił szanse
OS/2 to nie zdziwi mnie zbytnio, gdy wepchną kilku "poważnym"
instytucjom Aurorę, po czym zostawią ich na lodzie.
PS. Ciekawi mnie też, ilu pracowników IBM (szczególnie członków zarządu)
nie wie nawet co to jest OS/2. Może nasza "wtyczka" w IBM zadałaby
kolegom z pracy pytanie: "Czy słyszełeś może o OS/2?". Ciekawią mnie
wyniki takej sondy...
