Zaczynam rozumiec klientow MS:
http://www.microsoft.com/sql/

Oct 14, 1996 - Microsoft SQL Server has set a new TPC-C price/performance
record at $90.08/tpmC, breaking
the $100/tpmC barrier for the second time. The
fully audited results of 6043.93
tpmC and $90.08/tpmC were obtained with a
4-processor, 166 MHz Pentium
Pro-based WorldMark 4300 server from NCR Corporation.

Microsoft SQL Server is the only
database to have published price/performance
results below $100/tpmC. With
these results, it now holds the top 4 positions,
and 7 out of top 10, in TPC-C
price/performance. And 6043.93 tpmC is also the
best performance for Microsoft
SQL Server on any 4-processor 166MHz
Pentium Pro-based server.

-------------------------------------

taki postep w ciagu jednego roku! [czyt. - jak sp***** pierwsza wersje]
Ciekawe czy zysk w $/tpmC to robota specow z MS, czy kwestia naturalnej
obnizki cen?

Jarek.
