I am contacting you to ask for your help in identifying 
leaders in your country whom we could invite to a special 
Internet-based conference to be sponsored by the World 
Bank.  The World Bank is formulating its own 
institutional strategy to assist developing countries in 
harnessing information for economic development.  For 
this purpose, we want to obtain the opinions of leaders 
in government, academia, and the private sector who are 
knowledgeable about the potential contribution of 
information and information technology to economic and 
social development.
The Bank will sponsor this Internet-based conference to 
discuss the above mentioned topics.  I am writing to ask 
your assistance in identifying key people from within 
your institution, as well as from outside your 
institution (academia, government, industry, services, 
agriculture) who would be able to contribute their views 
to such a conference.
