FRAMINGHAM, Mass.

Oct. 26, 1994--IDG World Expo, the industry's leading producer of information
technology events, is pleased to announce two opportunities for U.S. companies
to reach powerful new markets in Central and Eastern Europe.

ComNet Prague '95, May 22-24, 1995, entering its third year, is the premier
conference and exhibition for communications and networking technologies in the
Czech Republic. ComNet Warsaw '95, June 20-22, 1995, is a first-time event
designed to introduce new markets currently opening in Poland.

ComNet Warsaw represents the gateway to Poland's newly-opened
telecommunications and networking industry. ComNet Warsaw's "for the trade-only"
format is designed to attract a qualified audience of communications and
networking professionals. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to meet
face-to-face with a cross-section of communications professionals from both the
public sector and the rapidly-emerging private sector. The projected number of
visitors at ComNet Warsaw is 10,000, with an expected 120 exhibitors and floor
space of 5,000 square meters. ComNet Warsaw '95 will offer three in-depth
tutorials on key networking topics: Introduction to Network Information Systems,
Procuring Voice and Data Services, and The Internet & On-line Services. ComNet
Prague '95 has a proven record of attracting qualified buyers and decision
makers interested in communications and networking products. ComNet Prague '95
will offer four-depth tutorials on key networking topics: Introduction to
Network Information Systems, LAN/WAN Interconnectivity, Procuring Voice and Data
Services, and The Internet & On-line Services.

Last year, ComNet Prague attracted over 9,000 visitors from both the private
and the public sectors. By extending the scope of the conference and exhibition
to include a greater focus on networking, attendance is predicted to increase by
more than 25 percent in 1995. ComNet Prague is the sole telecommunications and
networking event in the Czech Republic where telecommunications and networking
companies find the technical community's key public, industrial and political
decision makers.

Based on the highly successful ComNet conference series in the U.S., the
educational programs at both ComNet Prague and ComNet Warsaw will provide
targeted sessions focused on the most important networking and
telecommunications topics, highlighting regional issues. ComNet Prague '95
features 16 sessions focused within three tracks: Technology, Applications and
Policy and Management Trends. Keynote and plenary sessions will focus on issues
such as Prague's role in the European telecommunications industry, the future of
networking and how technologies and markets will develop to serve the needs of
users, and the effect financing and development of future private and public
networks will have on the Superhighway.

ComNet Warsaw '95 features 12 sessions focused within three tracks:
Technology, Applications and Policy and Management Trends. Emphasis will be
placed on case-studies of technology implementation. The opening ceremony and
keynote sessions will focus on issues such as the government perspective on
telecommunications public policy in Poland, and EC's view of the Superhighway.

Due to the increased demand in this part of the world for more information on
telecommunications and networking, the conferences will attract technologists,
programmers, PC and PC LAN managers, research engineers and telecommunications
specialists that are responsible for managing networks and telecommunications
systems.
