Niestety nie doczytałem się z raportu Sandry w jakim trybie działa
CD-ROM`ek. Podejżewam że problem tkwi w drugim kontrolerze IDE. Aby problem
usunąc nie trzeba żadnych łatek ani SP. Wystarczy z poziomu menadżera
urządzeń windy usunąć Secondary IDE albo Pomocniczy kanał IDE (nie pamiętam
jak to tam jest napisane). Reset windy i cieszymy się szybkimi transferami.

Jednak zanim coś zrobisz sprawdź jaki jest faktycznie tryb (właściwości
kontrolera). Jak jest DMA to niiestety nie tędy droga, chodź z tego co
napisałeś wynika że jako słave na podstawowym działa (i faktycznie z raoprtu
sandry wiemy że kanał podstawowy pracuje w prawidłowym maksymalnym trybie)

Czemu tak wogóle się dzieje to może niech ktoś inny powie bo ja nie wiem :)
chodź spotkałem się z takim problemem w wielu zupełnie rżnych sprzętach z
WinXP oraz Win98 (tu już standart że na początek jest PIO)
