As I have said above, if you are overclocking,
and say you have a Barton 2500+ (333MHz FSB)
and you want to overclock it to 200MHz as you
would be able to do on an nForce2 board, you
run into a slight problem because the proper
divider is not enabled unless an actual real
400MHz FSB processor is installed. If you select
200MHz FSB then the AGP and PCI frequencies are
out of specification. AGP would be running at
80MHz and PCI at 40MHz. This results is a non
booting board. This is because the board is
using the same 5:1 ratio no matter what
frequency you run at. By right the AGP/PCI
divider should be selectable, and with the
proper 6:1 ratio the PCI and AGP would be
right. We got around this limitation and
will give more info on it later in this review.
