Tytuł jest podchwytliwy ;) Nie pytam, ale przedstawiam odpowiedź na
powyższe pytanie. Tutaj:

ATI and nVidia's latest generation of value graphics processors both
deliver quite a lot of bang for the buck, and both make quite good
gaming cards if you don't turn on all the bells and whistles that
today's games offer. For casual gamers who like to fire up an occasional
game of Quake III or Warcraft III, these cards have plenty of power to
handle everything you can throw at them.
With that said, after looking at the benchmarks, it's quite clear that
ATI's Radeon 9000 Pro delivers an overall better gaming experience
compared to nVidia's GeForce4 MX series of cards. Even nVidia's newly
launched MX440-8X can't compete with the 9000 Pro on all levels, despite
the faster memory and AGP 8x bus available on these new nVidia cards.
The Radeon 9000's Pro's core architecture is simply stronger, and
despite it's slower memory and single texture pipeline, still delivers
better gaming performance over the MX.
The Radeon 9000 Pro fits in quite nicely between nVidia's "budget"
offerings. It's a bit more expensive over the GeForce4 MX440-8X cards
will be, but is cheaper than nVidia's NV25-based GeForce4 Ti4200
graphics cards. The GeForce4 Ti4200 still delivers quite a lot more
performance over the GeForce4 MX and Radeon 9000/Pro series cards, and
no doubt will continue to be the most popular card in the GeForce4
series, as the price to performance ratio of the Ti4200 is simply
outstanding.
ATI will also be competing with the Ti4200 graphics card soon, with
their upcoming Radeon 9500. The Radeon 9500 follows the same path which
nVidia took with the Ti4200, in that it uses the same architecture as
their higher-end brothers, but dramatically scales down core and memory
speeds for lower pricing.
