Dear customer,

we would like to thank you very much for your deep concern about the
earthquake in Taiwan.
This is the first terrible natural disaster that happened since a hundred
years and can not be regarded as normal at all.

The situation in the whole country is still very unstable and it is not
clear, yet when there will be an improvement as the rescue measures and the
efforts of cleaning and rebuilding presently go on.
Many cities lay in ruins and thousands of people lost their live or are
missing.

Fortunately, we can inform you that our factory in Taiwan is not damaged and
the production is going on, but we are terribly sorry to provide you with
the fact that many of our key component supplier's production sites have
been heavily destroyed.

For that reason, we deeply regret to inform you that component costs will
increase 10-20% and therefore we are also forced to increase the prices of
our products. We will send you a new price-list based on this situation.

Mankind can not avoid such natural disaster we again would like to emphasise
that we are very sorry for this development.

Until now it is not clear what will happen in the near future, but we would
like to assure you that we will try to keep our schedule running smoothly
and of course we try to maintain our service and support for you.

Again, we would like to express our deepest regret for this terrible
situation and we would like to thank you for your support and concern for
the events in Taiwan.

Yours faithfully,

James Cheng
