PhD research opportunities in Materials Research
The newly formed Centre for Materials Research (CMR) at QMUL has established
a prestigious scholarship program and is looking to recruit four exceptional
candidates for PhD places with the potential to excel as researchers in
academia or industry. To reflect this, the stipend at Ł13,000 is
considerably higher than that normally awarded to EPSRC funded research
students. The PhDs will be funded for a total of four years, during which
you will be given a broad range of experience that will distinguish your CV
and better prepare you for your future career. This will include teaching
experience and project management.
The topic of your research will be in one of the current areas of activity
within the CMR, which includes elastomers, modeling, composites,
biomaterials, and functional ceramics.
