Subject: Engineering Doctorate Studentship

Engineering Doctorate Studentship at the National Physical Laboratory
and Brunel University.

Applications are invited from high-calibre (2i and above, or MSc)
graduates in engineering, physical science and materials-related
disciplines for a research engineer position studying for an
Engineering Doctorate in Environmental Technology. The research project
is on the degradation of engineering materials in high temperature
environments. It will be in close collaboration with industry and
carried out mainly at the National Physical Laboratory.

The successful candidate will receive a substantial tax free stipendary
of Ł13k+ annually for four years. In addition to the research
activities, the candidate will participate in courses on management,
leadership, and environmental issues.
