Directory of Chemical Products and Producers in China 1999 (English Edition)
Directory is a large and authoritative retrieval reference book published
in China every year. Directory is designed to give, in a systematic way,
readers a complete and all round introduction of China's chemical
industry-its chemical products and producers. It is, therefore, a useful
book for people both at home and abroad, who are working in the fields of
market consultation, product development, chemical production, business
operation and investment, import and export trade of chemicals. Directory
is divided into five parts.
PART I:CHEMICAL PRODUCTS
It provides about 24,000 chemical products, including chemical name, CAS
number, its code and the code of the producers who produce it. CHEMICAL
PRODUCTS is arranged in a way based on the classification of chemicals,
which are divided into 19 major categories.(A. chemical mines; B.
inorganic chemicals; C. organic chemicals; D. chemical fertilizers; E.
pesticides; F. polymers; G. paints & inorganic pigments; H. dyestuffs &
organic pigments; I. information chemicals; J. reagents; K. food & feed

chemicals; S. chemical machinery)
PART II:CHEMICAL PRODUCERS
About 20,000 chemical producers of different types are covered in
Directory, including producer's code, name, address, postal code, telephone
number, fax number, E-mail, main products' capacity, number of employees,
annual output value(at the end of last year) and director.
PART III: CHEMICAL NAME INDEXE
The index of all chemical products' names with their codes listed in
Directory is given in alphabet order.
PART IV:CAS NUMBER CROSS-REFERENCE
In this part we have listed the CAS number in ascending order with the
page number on which the corresponding chemical name first appears.
PART V:APPENDIXES
The appendix contains main companies and enterprises in China, engaging
in chemical import and export trade with name, address, postal code,
telephone number and fax number.
Database of Chemical Products and Producers in China 1999 (English Edition)
CD-ROM provides information on chemical production plants in China. It contains details on more than 20,000 existing manufacturing plants producing several thousand different organic and inorganic chemicals. Chemicals are divided into 19 types such as chemical mines, inorganic chemicals, organic chemicals, chemical fertilizers, pesticides, polymers, paints & inorganic pigments, dyestuffs & organic pigments, information chemicals, reagents, food & feed additives, synthetic drugs, daily use chemicals, adhesives, rubber products, catalysts & auxiliaries, explosives, other chemicals, chemical machinery. Over 22,000 chemicals are listed. Information for each plant includes the following key features, where known: name, address, postal code, telephone number, fax number, number of employees, director, sales manager, output value of last year, etc.. To run the Database, system requirements are: IBM PC or 100% compatible computer; hard disk contains at least 40MB; Windows 3.x, 95, 98,and 2000; RAM at least 16MB; a parallel print port and CD-rom drive.
Database is more comprehensive with the latest and it is easy to use by products searching or manufacturers searching. Database is updated every year.
