Co do tej karty (i innych na chipach typu Vortex) to jakby ktoś myślał również
o Linuxie to nie radzę bo oto co jest na stronie o steriwnikach do Linuxa o
niej:

I'd like to say that I just couldn't take it anymore and decided to throw out
my Aureal Vortex based sound card. I contacted them and they said that "they
couldn't release the specs AT THIS TIME" (???), but it seems that 4Front
Technologies (Opensound) is working on support for that card. They probably
signed one of those fucking NDA's with them. According to their site it is
still going to take months (second quarter 1999) before they develop a driver
for the Vortex chip. But since the programming specs aren't open anyway (I
mailed them several times, they only replied once), you can add those
no-good-for-crap Aureal sound chips to your blacklist as well.
