Przed instalacja driverow do OS/2, nalezy w pamieci karty skonfigurowac, czestotliwosci
odswierzania. Jest do tego program: INSTALL.EXE.
Moja karta ma EEPROM, gdzie zawsze pamieta te parametry, ale wiem ze sa
takie ktore maja zwykly RAM, i te trzeba inicjalizowac po kazdym wlaczeniu. Program
instalacyjny do OS/2, sczytuje te ustawienia z karty i za kazdym razem przy uruchaminiu
ja odpowiednio inicjalizuje.
Tak wiec przed instalacja driverow trzeba odpalic ten program i karte ustawic, wtedy
wszystko bedzie ok.
A tak w ogole to jest to opisane w README.OS2 :
2) Insert the mach64 disk #1 and run OS2INST.EXE in a windowed or
full screen OS/2 session. This will start up a customized full
screen DOS session and run the _INSTALL.EXE_ program. In INSTALL,
check "Power-Up Configuration" and check the appropriate monitor
type has been selected. Select the correct monitor NOW and save
the card's configuration if this has not already been done previously.
**** IMPORTANT: ****
a) OS/2 requires that the 640x480 resolution be set for the IBM default,
60Hz vertical refresh rate.
b) You must configure the card for all resolutions that your monitor can
support in order to have them work correctly under OS/2 Only those
resolutions you have configured will display correctly.
