               2nd Call for Papers and Participation
   10th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON IMAGE ANALYSIS AND PROCESSING

The Conference is an international forum for discussion on advances in the
fields of image analysis, understanding and communication. It is
organized by the Italian Chapter of the International Association
for Pattern Recognition (IAPR-IC).
ICIAP99 focusses on image-based emerging applications, and includes special
sessions. Papers will be accepted for both oral and poster presentation.
A Young Scientists Forum, reduced fees and low-cost accommodation solutions
are planned to encourage the participation of younger colleagues.
Special issues of three international journals are also planned.
The Conference Proceedings will be published by the IEEE Computer Society
Press.
