Conference Programme
The Conference is concerned with current research and recent developments
in Net Shape Manufacturing.
The first day of the Conference will be held at The University of
Birmingham and will start with registration and the opportunity to visit
the Net Shape Manufacturing Laboratory at the IRC. This facility was
recently set up with funding of Ł6.5M from the European Regional
Development Fund. After lunch, the first Conference session will take
place. The second and third days of the Conference will be held at the
International Convention Centre in Birmingham. The Conference will consist
of invited and submitted presentations and a poster session.

Presentation and Submission of Papers

Anyone wishing to present a paper or poster at the Conference should send
        Title of paper
        Names of authors (noting presenting author)
        Address (with full details for correspondence, including email)
        Abstract of u to 500 words

All those presenting papers will be required to provide their paper, as
hard copy and on disk, before the start of the Conference. A full set of
proceedings will be published. The Conference language will be English.

Registration

The Registration fee for this Conference is Ł200. This covers the
Conference Proceedings (available after the Conference), lunches and other
refreshments, the Welcome Reception and the Conference Dinner.

If there is sufficient interest, an Accompanying Persons programme will be
arranged. There will be a modest charge for this, to cover the costs of
visits to places of interest and attendance at the Welcome Reception and
the Conference Dinner. Details will be circulated at a later date to those
indicating an interest.

Registrations for the Conference will be limited to 200.

A hotel booking form (provided by Birmingham Convention and Visitor Bureau)
will be sent to all those who register for the Conference. All hotel
bookings should be made using this form via the Birmingham Convention and
Visitor Bureau.
