Xp i problem z dlugo krecacym sie dyskiem

Witam ,

problem mam nastepujacy. I wiem ze pewnie trudno bedzie znalezc rozwiazanie
, ale moze komus cos zaswita. Mam dysk Seagate Barracuda 80 GB. Podzielony
na 3 partycje. Partycja c na facie 32 z windowsem 98 , partycja d i e na
NTFS po 35 giga i kawalek miejsca z tylu dla linuksa. Wczesniej na d i e byl
fat32 , skonwerowalem niedawno do ntfs. Klustery maja po 512 bajtow.

Moj problem

 - Windows za dlugo kreci dyskiem przy otwieraniu , przy zamykaniu -
defragmentacja niewiele pomaga (zarowno Nortonem jak i Diskeeperem) A zamyka
chyba przez 2 minuty zanim zamknie

Dodam, ze
- mam 512 mega pamieci , Athlona 2000 XP na plycie ASUS A7v8x-x , wiec
raczej nie jest to zlom. Gry mi chodza bardzo plynnie i sie nic nie zacina ,
podobnie filmy mi sie nie tna (wiec to chyba nie problem sterownikow),
natomiast operacje , gdzie jest wykorzystywany dysk sa koszmarne. Jak ktos
sciaga ode mnie cos z sieci lokalnej , to nic nie moge zrobic (nawet wczytac
jakis program do zdjecia udostepniania , bo zanim mi sie wczyta mijaja
wieki)

Prosze o jakies sugestie co mam zrobic , zeby poprawic wydajnosc. Adaware
oraz Spybot odpalam na biezaco , zeby nie miec szpiegow a wszystkie (poza
najnowszym Servicepackiem) latki mam zainstalowane.
