Internic ROOT servers are down
The Internic reports that their root servers are down at this time.
Their engineers are working the issue but there is no ETR at this time.

Customer Notification
InterNIC root servers are not propagating new DNS updates. This is
causing problems when attempting to reach web sites and send email to
newly updated addresses. The InterNIC has isolated the issue and has
engineers addressing the problem. There is no work around for this issue.
The solution is for the InterNIC to resolve.
