NEW YORK- Two Citybank employees are suing the glagship bank of Citicorp,
alleging that white supervisors have been exchanging racist private
electronic mail messages that demean blacks, court papers released
Tuesday(Febr.18,1997) show.
The lawsuit alleges that in January of 1997 numerous white supervisors began
exchanging private e-mail which contained "vulgar and racially vile messages
that demeaned and radiculed African- American people". (Reuters)
