Dear Bartlomiej
I am finishing a literary project that involves Kielce and the
monastery during the war years. I need information on the following
three
(3) German civil administrators;
1. Stadthauptmann Hans Drechsel
2. Kriminalkommisar Ernst Karl Thomas (Police)
3. SS Hauptmann Hans Grier
Were these men brought to justice in Poland after the war? Were
they killed in the final months of the war (January-May 1945)? It would
be very difficult to find out here in the U.S.A.
I need more information on the monastery as well; physical
descriptions as well as history.
I would be very greatful for any help that you could give me. I
am hoping to come to Kielce before the year is over. Perhaps we can have
dinner at the Pizza Hut!
