Nie, Lct15. Ale sorry za zmieszanie, być może pamięć mnie zwiodła, bo
nigdzie nie mogę trafić na ślad potwierdzający istnienie takiego
narzędzia.
Znalazłem za to taką informację (i może czas uciekać z tego dysku):
"Quantum LCT series HDD's all have problem with driver chip that is
probably poorly selected for the job. On avarage this drive fail within
two years of service. Chips used to drive spindle motor (3phase
brushless DC) are Philips TDA5247HT or Panasonic AN8428GAK.
Problem manifests itself as thumping sound, almoust like ball bearing
droped on hard surface. Most likely otput transistors of this chip go
into conduction causing overheating of the chip and in some cases chip
burns out visibly.
Temporary (very!) solution would be to put heatsink with some thermal
grease on the driver chip to cool it down enough to transfer data to
other hard disk.
Taking driver board from any other working LCT series HDD would do a
job. If you are lucky to find either Philips or Panasonic chip or
replacement board and mount heatsink as preventive measure you still
might have HDD as well."
