Card & Socket Services. Unless you are using Windows 95, your PC must
be running some kind of card and socket services in order for the
EthernetCard to work. Services are usually loaded into memory each
time your computer is started up by your PC's CONFIG.SYS file. Such
services allow your card to communicate with your network drivers. Run
the README.EXE program on your EthernetCard disk to find out more
about services. (The EthernetCard comes with its own combo socket/card
service that you may be able to use if your computer doesn't have
services. Again, see the README program for instructions).
