Software and Web Localization
Position ID - pl_loc
General Description:
You will translate software, web sites, and printed and online
documentation while maintaining consistency to customer's linguistic
standards, style guides and glossary of terms into Polish language.
You will be reporting to a Project Manager and be working at own
premises.
Duties:
SW and Web localization and resizing of User Interface
Handling of HTML and scripts
Printed and online documentation translation and review
Adherence to customer's glossaries, linguistic and quality
standards
Communication with project manager and client
Regular reporting to project manager and client
Required Skills:
Knowledge of HTML and various scripts
Strong linguistic background
Excellent knowledge of English, German and/or French
Previous experience in IT translation
Familiarity with personal computers and good knowledge of MS Windows
and MS Office
Interest in IT and the Internet
Ability to work with a team
Desired Skills:
Previous localization experience
Other:
You have regular access to the Internet and you have the minimum
required equipment (PC, software etc) to work at your own premises.
Mobile telephone access desirable.
