These systems are designed to operate with the Intel Pentium II Processor.
The microprocessor implements MMX technology and maintains full backward
compatibility with the 8086, 80286, Intel386, Intel486, Pentium processor,
and Pentium Pro processors.
The table below shows the specific Intel Pentium II Processor chip speed and
RAM included for each system. The processor, in addition to its expanded
data and addressing capabilities, includes the following features:

The microprocessor is not mounted directly on motherboard. It is mounted on
the Processor Module which plugs into the processor connector. The
motherboard supports a single Pentium II processor. The processor's VID pins
automatically program the voltage regulator on the motherboard to the
required processor voltage. The motherboard currently supports processors
that run internally at 233 - 333MHz and have a 512 KB second-level cache.
The processor implements MMX technology and maintains full backward
compatibility with the 8086, 80286, Intel386, Intel486, Pentium, and Pentium
Pro processors. The processor's numeric coprocessor significantly increases
the speed of floating-point operations and complies with ANSI/IEEE standard
754-1985.
The Intel 440LX chipset is the third generation of desktop PCIset and is
designed for the Pentium II processor. It consists of the Intel 82443LX
PCI/A.G.P. controller (PAC) and the Intel 82371AB PCI/ISA IDE Xccelerator
(PIIX4) bridge chip.
The Accelerated Graphics Port (A.G.P.) is a high-performance interconnect
for graphic-intensive applications, such as 3D applications. A.G.P. is
independent of the PCI bus and is intended for exclusive use with
graphical-display devices. A.G.P. provides these performance features:
a.. Pipelined-memory read and write operations that hide memory access
latency
b.. Demultiplexing of address and data on the bus for near 100 percent bus
efficiency
c.. AC timing for 133 MHz data transfer rates, allowing data throughput of
up to 500MB/sec
A.G.P. complies with the 66 MHz PCI specification.
Moje pytanko jaki maxymalnie procesor moge zalozyc na ta plyte????Czy tylko
Pentium 2 333Mhz tak jak tutaj pisze czy moge zalozyc cos innego
szybszego????
