   BSDI + Apache vs. Microsoft IIS on Windows NT
          
          Version 2.1 of the BSDI Internet Server obtained significantly
          better results in web server benchmarks than those obtained by
          Microsoft's Internet Information Server (IIS) running on
          version 3.51 of Microsoft's Windows NT operating system using a
          comparable hardware platform and testing methods. With a 64
          client load, BSDI is:
          
          + 32% faster than Microsoft when serving static HTML content
          + 84% faster serving CGI generated dynamic content
          + 44-226% faster serving API generated dynamic content
