CITIZEN MICROSOFT: WAXING AND WANING
Microsoft's alleged anticompetitive business practices are the subject
of a new book entitled "Citizen Microsoft: Waxing and Waning."
In his report, Graham Lea, an industry analyst, says, "Microsoft has
successfully manipulated the media to a level of sycophancy that
precludes the truth from being known publicly. Covens of newspapers and
magazines (because of the advertising), and financial analysts (because
they speculate in Microsoft's stock) have a vested interest in
Microsoft's success."
Microsoft's questionable practices for licensing software to OEMs
are described in detail, as well as various predatory practices.
Citizen Microsoft costs US $7.50 (4.50 pounds in Europe)
