Hi,
Ze strony p. Alfredssona tj. Warp-X:
News !
The next Warp Client - sort of(Sept. 11)
Now its official. The next release of Warp Server
(Aurora) can be used as a client. I asked IBM what
kind
of workstation one should use to administer
Aurora:
"The recommend administrator workstation is the
latest
version of Merlin with Aurora's Client Pak*
installed or
Aurora."
"Yes, Aurora can be installed without the server
componentry."
How hard would it be for IBM to do a client now...
*I dont (yet) know what "Aurora Client Pak" means.
Aurora as NFS server/client(Sept. 11)
The next version of Warp Server (Aurora) will
support
NFS as both client and server. That is Aurora will
be
able to mount an NFS drive and share drives via
NFS
with other machines.
Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!
