w skrocie
trzeba skopiowac oryginalny plik syslevel.os2 umieszczony w kat.
\os2\install jako syslevel.old, a z katalogu FIXAK3\EXTRA\SYSLEVEL
skopiowac odpowiedni plik:

"6. If you have a NON-North American English edition of OS/2 Warp 4
on which you wish to install FixPak 3 "Special Edition," and you
either have a backup of your OS/2 system you are willing to restore
or you are willing to reinstall the OS/2 system after completing
your test of the SmartSuite for OS/2 Warp 4 Beta Release
applications, following the instructions provided below MAY allow
you to install FixPak 3 "Special Edition":
a. Rename the SYSLEVEL.OS2 file found in the \OS2\INSTALL
subdirectory of your OS/2 boot drive as SYSLEVEL.OLD
b. Copy the appropriate SYSLEVEL file from the FIXAK3\EXTRA\SYSLEVEL
subdirectory (created when you extracted the FixPak) to your
\OS2\INSTALL subdirectory - as described below:

INSTALLED ON: COPY THE FOLLOWING FILE: TO OS2\INSTALL AS:

c. Follow the instructions given in note 3b above to delete any
current OS/2 installation log files.
d. Shut down and reboot your NON-North American English OS/2 Warp 4
system.
e. Open an OS/2 command prompt window, and type: VER /R
The Revision number reported should be "9.023"
f. Finally, see "INSTALLING FIXPAK 3 'SPECIAL EDITION' FOR
OS/2 WARP 4" (above) for instructions on installing the
FixPak."
