Good-day:
For those who do not know me, my name is Brad Barclay, and I am in
charge of OS/2 development at TUCOWS' parent company, ComputerLink
Online Inc. I, like yourselves, am a long-time OS/2 user and supporter.
I, like yourselves, am bothered by the TUCOWS announcement, as TUCOWS/2
was my creation.  Months worth of work was put into its creation,
and many months more into its continued evolution.
Scott Swedorski, the President of TUCOWS, has informed me that if
he receives at least 500 more E-Mail messages pledging support
for TUCOWS/2, then he will keep it online.  At this time we have
received about 120 E-Mail messages pledging support for TUCOWS/2.
I, for one, can't see why we can't make the total number of E-Mails
in the thousands.  Thus, I would like to ask my fellow WarpCast
subscribers to help me in my campaign to keep TUCOWS/2 alive and
well.  Please let your OS/2-using friends know that their voice in
this matter can help keep TUCOWS/2 alive.
Why is TUCOWS/2 important?  TUCOWS/2 should be considered to be
extremely important to the OS/2 community, as it not only gives us
hundreds of mirror sites containing all the best in OS/2 Internet
related software, but it also raises OS/2's visibility to the
millions of Windows users that visit TUCOWS every day.  It is a
validation of the importance that OS/2 plays on the Internet
that it has its own section on a Web site that has "Windows"
as a part of it's name.
I encourage all of you to help me in my campaign to save TUCOWS/2.
Together, the OS/2 community can make a difference.
