European KONES2012 - Invitation

Dear Sir or Madam,
 
We cordially invite you to attend the 38th International Scientific Congress on Powertrain and Transport Means – European KONES2012 to be held in Ryn (Poland), 9–12 September 2012.
 
The Congress topics include the latest achievements in research, development and design of both compression-ignition and spark-ignition as well as other combustion engines (hybrids) with special attention to bio-fuels, ecology, injection and spray, fuel economy, combustion processes, mixture preparation, exhaust aftertreatment, particulars filters, thermodynamics and heat transfer, noise and acoustics, durability and reliability, new experimental methods, new materials (composites) and production technologies, tribology, engine parts, fuel and lubricants, other alternative fuels (including hydrogen), fuel cells and converters, electric drive standards, noise and vibration, diagnostics (OBD), catalysis, catalyst systems, fuels derived from plants. This event also is aimed at issues of research, design and development for different types of vehicles with special attention on new generation of vehicles, reliability and durability, servicing and maintenance, recycle engineering, safety, environment protection, air pollution control, as well as human and nature ecology, law and social aspects of environment protection, simulation and modelling. The theme of the Congress are the issues of land, sea and air vehicles with a particular regard to powertrain, ecology, safety, simulation and modelling.
 
We are pleased to announce the congress will take place in Hotel CASTLE RYN****, located in 14th century Teutonic castle, the second largest building of this type in Poland. The castle is situated in the town of RYN, on the route of the Masurian Lake District – one of the most attractive regions in terms of scenery, ecology, natural environment and tourism. The Masurian hilly and undulating terrain, fabulous lakes meandering in long postglacial channels, rich in lovely bays and peninsulas – these are the surroundings of the Castle. Fresh air as well as splendid and peaceful countryside will allow the Congress participants to revel in the allure of life and travel to the past.
