Applications are invited for a Research Fellow in Dynamic Evolutionary
Optimisation to work on an EPSRC-funded project on "Evolutionary
Algorithms for Dynamic Optimisation Problems: Design, Analysis and
Applications," which is a collaborative project between Universities of
Birmingham and Leicester, BT and Honda Research Institute Europe. The
research at Birmingham will focus on theoretical analysis of EAs and other
meta-heuristic search algorithms on selected dynamic optimisation problems
and the characterisation of these problems.

The successful candidate is expected to have a PhD in evolutionary
optimisation. S/he must have outstanding analytical skills and research
achievements evidenced by publications in leading journals and
conferences. Candidates with new PhDs will be considered where their
