> The University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) is pleased to
announce a new Master of Science program in Modelling and Computational
Science. This interdisciplinary program has core courses in modeling,
numerical analysis and high-performance computing, coupled with courses and
research in an area of application.

> Located a short distance northeast of Toronto adjacent to beautiful
Ontario countryside, UOIT is a new science-and-technology-oriented
university founded in 2003, at which all undergraduate programs are
laptop-based. Computational Facilities in the MSc program include
membership in the SHARCNET (Shared Hierarchical Academic Research Computing
Network), a grid computing network involving 16 universities and research
institutions in Ontario.
