Institute of Materials Science

Dept. of Metallurgy & Materials Engineering

The Institute of Materials Science (IMS) at the University of Connecticut
(UCONN) is accepting applications for a tenure-track faculty appointment
within the Institute of Materials Science and the Department of Metallurgy
and Materials Engineering. Applicants should have an earned doctorate in
Materials Science & Engineering, or a closely related field, a strong
interest in both undergraduate and graduate teaching, and the motivation to
develop and maintain an internationally recognized research program in their
specialty. All areas of materials science and engineering will be
considered. The position will be at the Assistant or the Associate
Professor level, commensurate with the candidatešs background, experience,
and accomplishments.
