CALL FOR PAPERS
PPAM 2003
FIFTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON
PARALLEL PROCESSING AND APPLIED MATHEMATICS
Czestochowa, Poland,
September 7-10, 2003
GENERAL
The format of the Fifth International Conference on Parallel Processing and Applied
Mathematics (PPAM'2003) will follow the pattern set by its successful predecessors,
the PPAM'94, PPAM'97 PPAM'99 and PPAM 2001 conferences, held in Czestochowa, Zakopane,
Kazimierz Dolny and Naleczow, respectively.
PPAM 2003 will be dedicated to a broad variety
of subject areas within parallel and distributed processing, including theory and
applications. The Conference is also intended as an open forum in the field of applied
mathematics. An important goal of PPAM 2003 is to foster communication and cooperation
between communities studying problems in this field and communities involved in parallel,
distributed and grid computing.
TOPICS OF INTEREST
Topics of interest include (but are not limited) to:
* Parallel/distributed and grid architectures
* Cluster computing
* Parallel/distributed algorithms

PAPER SUBMISSION AND PUBLICATION
Original papers are invited for the conference. Authors should submit full
papers (draft version, PostScipt file) to the conference office before April 30,
2003. Regular papers are not to exceed 8 pages. Papers will be refereed and
accepted on the basis of their scientific merit
and relevance to the conference topics. Abstracts of accepted papers will be
available during the conference in form of a brochure. Only papers presented
at PPAM'2003 will be included into the proceedings published after the
conference by Springer-Verlag in the LNCS series. Full camera-ready versions
of accepted papers will be required by October 15, 2003. The author's guide
for preparing them in LaTeX will be available on the conference's home page.
