PROCESSING TO PRODUCTION - the science of ceramics

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

One of the themes of this two-day meeting will be novel processing routes
with a keynote presentation by Professor Julian Evans. Contributions are
invited for presentations of original research work on ceramics, glasses
and ceramic matrix composites in the following areas:

ˇ novel processing
ˇ development and characterisation of microstructure
ˇ mechanical, thermal, electrical and chemical behaviour
ˇ joining, interfaces and surface engineering
ˇ design and applications
ˇ modelling

Prospective contributors are invited to submit a 200 word abstract,
preferably as an e-mail attachment, by 18th December 1999 to:
