A variety of studentships are available in the Manchester Materials
Science Centre for MSc, PhD, PGTP and EngD programmes:

EPSRC Advanced Course Studentships in the following MSc Courses:

   METALLIC and CERAMIC MATERIALS

   POLYMER SCIENCE and TECHNOLOGY

EPSRC/CASE/Industrially funded PhD, PGTP and EngD studentships in:

    CERAMICS
    METALLIC MATERIALS
    POLYMERIC MATERIALS
    COMPOSITES
    BIOMEDICAL MATERIALS

Two NERC PhD studentships:

(i) Experimental study of grain boundary processes in silicate rocks
    and minerals.
(ii) Computational study of grain boundary processes in silicate
     rocks and minerals.

For UK students the studentships will cover fees plus maintenance
(with top ups for certain studentships); for EU students the
studentships will cover fees only.
