Znalazlem taka definicje: (za http://www.medonc.com/antisense.htm)

Any drug that interferes with the transcribing or translating of these DNA programs is called anti-sense. They are either small pieces of DNA or strings of modified nucleotides, the acidic sugars that make up DNA. These short nucleotide chains are designed to bind to a specific region of the target messenger RNA, thus preventing the RNA from producing a target protein.

To troche wyjasnia sprawe.
