Because PS moves memory faster than most programs - and thus triggers the
lockup bug sooner than most.

Please read the documents on the Adobe site.
If the P2B or P3B motherboard revision is less than 1.04, you've got a
defective motherboard and need to replace it. Only the 1.04 and later
motherboards are stable.
