If you do have OSR 2, then the next step is to make sure that the USB
Supplement has been installed. Installing the USB Supplement is what makes
your system ?OSR 2.1? instead of ?OSR 2.? To check for the supplement go to
the Add/Remove Programs applet in the Control Panel and look at the list of
software that can be removed. USB Supplement to OSR2 should be on that list.
If it isn?t then you need to install it on your system.
To install the USB Supplement, you need a Windows 95 CD-ROM with the
USBSUPP.EXE program on it. If your Windows 95 CD-ROM has this program then
it should have the phrase ?With USB Support? on the CD-ROM itself. The file
USBSUPP.EXE can be found in the Other\USB\ directory on the Windows 95
CD-ROM. Please read the README.TXT file before installing the supplement.
