IBM Outlines Roadmap for OS/2 Warp Server and
WorkSpace On-Demand; Enhancements Now Available
-----------------------------------------------
A new version of OS/2 Warp* Server, due in early
1999, will serve as IBM's entry-level server
platform for e-business applications. A new
release of WorkSpace On-Demand*, targeted for
4Q1998, will support more hardware devices, such
as the IBM Network Station*, and will include Java
1.1.6. Also, several new enhancements to OS/2 Warp
Server -- available now from IBM's software
delivery Web site -- improve system management,
backup, and recovery.
